There is a kind of running that is not only escape. It's longing. A search for somewhere that can hold the questions we do not know how to answer. “Runaway” reminds me of the ache that comes with living inside the unknown. The desire to go beyond the limits of what we can see. To find meaning that does not vanish from our hands. To touch something that feels like home, even when we are not sure where home is. We move through life carrying an acceptance of our limits, but acceptance does not always remove the sadness we feel. We still want to know. We still want to understand what all of this is for. And beneath the ordinary rhythm of our days, there can be a quiet fear that meaning may not arrive in a form we can hold. The not knowing is painful, but it is also what keeps us searching. It keeps us open. It keeps us reaching... In the process, we learn how to live inside the ellipses...
