When our own sight reaches its limit, faith becomes another way of seeing. “There Is a Spirit” is a reminder of the surrender that life keeps asking from us. Not the kind of surrender that gives up, but the kind that learns to trust what is guiding us when our own understanding is not enough. We move through life from inside the narrowness of our own view. We only see what we can see. We interpret what happens through fear, memory, hope, pain, and the limits of our own experience. And still, we are asked to keep moving. That is where Spirit enters as the presence that helps us walk it. The road can be rocky. The way can be long. People can fail us. Our own strength can thin out. But there is something deeper within the soul that keeps moving forward. Vision is not only what the eyes provide.
